HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) today announced he will host his annual Veterans Brunch on Friday, May 24.

The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Carroll Township Social Hall, 130 Baird St. Monongahela. Retired Maj. William Roland, junior vice commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, is the keynote speaker. RSVPs are required by Friday, May 10, by calling O’Neal’s district office at 724-223-4541 or visiting RepONeal.com/events. Each veteran may bring a guest.

“Each year, I host this event between Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day to thank those who have served to protect our freedoms,” O’Neal said. “As a veteran, I know the sacrifices they have made. Even if you have attended the event in the past, you are welcome to come again. I encourage all veterans in the 48th Legislative District to attend and bring a guest.”

The 48th Legislative District in Washington County covers the city of Washington; Amwell, part of Carroll (Districts 3, 4 and 5), East Finley, Fallowfield, Morris, North Franklin, part of North Strabane (Districts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5), Nottingham, Somerset, South Franklin, South Strabane, and West Finley townships; and the boroughs of Donora, East Washington and Green Hills.
