Free on-site document shredding will be provided. No more than three grocery bags or small boxes per household are permitted. All bags or boxes of items to be shredded must be placed in the trunk of the vehicle. Once you arrive at the event, please open your trunk and stay inside your vehicle. The items will be removed, boxes will be returned to the trunk, and your trunk will then be shut. This is for personal items only. No businesses, please. No large binder clips or hardbound covers will be accepted. Materials more than one-inch thick will need to be broken down prior to being put through the machines. My staff and I will be available to assist and provide information regarding consumer protection and identity theft.

Property Tax/Rent Rebate Clinics
My office will be hosting a number of Property Tax/Rent Rebate clinics during the month of May.

This year, more Pennsylvanians who are 65 or older, widows and widowers 50 years or older, and those 18 years or older with disabilities are eligible to receive a rebate on the property taxes and rent paid last year. With Act 7 of 2023, the General Assembly passed the first expansion in 20 years. Income limits this year increased to $45,000 and the maximum rebate to $1,000.

Assistance completing the application will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please bring your identification, all proof of 2023 income, and a signed rent certificate or property tax receipts.

Telephone Town Hall Meeting

I will be hosting a telephone town hall meeting for residents of the 48th Legislative District. The program will consist of a legislative update, as well as a question-and-answer session. The event could be postponed if we are in legislative session. Check my Facebook page for the latest update.
