HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) today announced his office will host an identity theft seminar on Thursday, May 30.

The event will be held at the Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St., Washington, from 10-11:30 a.m.

“In this technological world, identity theft is a common problem,” O’Neal said. “There are a number of tips people can follow to try to prevent becoming a victim. I encourage attending this event to learn some of these helpful preventive techniques.”

The seminar will be led by state police Tpr. Rocco Gagliardi and focus on how to protect oneself from identity theft and scams in order to avoid becoming a victim.
