HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) today announced more than $2.38 million from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) has been awarded to three projects in the 48th Legislative District. This funding aims to enhance local infrastructure and support economic growth in the region.

“These grants will improve facilities that benefit the community,” O’Neal said. “I’m pleased to support the projects. As nonprofits, LeMoyne and Blueprints empowers residents who need assistance and provide critical programming. The funding for Washington and Jefferson will help address the critical need for nurses in our area.”

Blueprints received $727,114 to expand its welcome center. The funds will be used to cover engineering, inspections, permits, and purchase and installation of furniture.

LeMoyne Community Center was awarded $408,242 for expansion of its facility to provide the growing number of youth and community members with high-quality programming and services. The additions will include a new classroom, new main entry, administration office space and additional bathrooms.

Finally, Washington and Jefferson College received $1.25 million to transform Lazear Hall into a state-of-the-art facility to serve as a new home for the college’s bachelor of science in nursing program.
