O’Neal to Host Veterans Brunch

HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) today announced that he will hosting a Veterans Brunch to coincide with Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 18.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the John C. McIlvaine Jr. American Legion Post 902, 124 W. Pike St., Houston. RSVPs are required by Thursday, May 16, by calling his district office at 724-223-4541.

“For the second year in a row, I am proud to host an event to recognize my fellow veterans for their service,” O’Neal said. “Armed Forces Day, which is the third Saturday in May each year, is sometimes overlooked but is another opportunity to thank those who have served or are serving in our military. If you are a veteran who resides in the 48th Legislative District, I hope you will be able to attend.”

The 48th Legislative District in Washington County includes the city of Washington; Chartiers, North Franklin, North Strabane and South Strabane townships; and Canonsburg, East Washington and Houston boroughs.
